Student Full Stack Developer at DevMountain Bootcamp

Role: As a team member, I designed the database and some server logic, created the logo, front end design of experiences and reviews, redesigned container and card elements to be modular / DRY, and put in the google map components.

A partial clone of Airbnb’s site, where experiences are offered (tours, classes). A Javascript and React.js single page application (SPA). State management is done with Context API. Password are hashed through Bcrypt, and user state is stored with express-session. Reusable components are utilized, for containers and content. Search and filter features are sorted with Lodash. Dates are created and processed with Moment.js. Online payments are processed with Stripe. Project Management of group tasks are done with Zenhub. Database is planned with MySQLWorkbench. The postgreSQL relational database is hosted on Heroku, and the site is hosted with Digital Ocean. Git version control was used.

Role: I designed, programmed, and deployed this app myself - front to back end.

A news-themed party game inspired by jackbox.tv games. A Javascript and React.js web app with responsive interface: desktop for hosting games, and mobile for player controllers. Front end design and styling done with Sass and CSS3. Socket.IO is used for real-time gameplay across devices. Redux is used for state management. Server side is done through Node.js and Express.
