Michael Maguire is a SAFe Certified Agile Product Owner/Manager and a SAFe certified Scrum Master focused on creating and delivering compelling products that solve real problems. He represents the voice of the customer by articulating detailed user stories, participating in all scrum rituals, and maintaining a finely groomed backlog.
Michael has worked at some of the largest Banking, Telecommunication, Financial and Insurance companies in Toronto providing him with exposure to the domain of enterprise Governance, Risk, Security, Audit and Compliance.
He has extensive knowledge in the areas of Scrum, Kanban, DevOps, Kubernetes, Docker, Jira, Confluence, Contentful, ITSM, and Pragmatic Marketing. Michael has worked on projects utilizing XP, digital technologies including Java, CSS, JSON, and Software Development Life Cycle best practices.
Michael also has a deep understanding of security standards, operating frameworks and methodologies including PCI DSS, ITIL, ISO 27000 Series, ISO 9001, SaaS Infrastructure Technologies and Infrastructure as a Service.

Michael prioritizes development by calculating the value of the identified features within the Product Roadmap and high level backlog in collaboration with SME's and other business/project stakeholders. He is able to influence decisions on all aspects of product development and service delivery by providing continuous project alignment with business objectives and strategies while overseeing overall solution implementation. He also provides the ongoing operational guidance while mentoring internal teams and trusted partners.
