Education:

• August 2018: Ph.D. in sciences, Quantum Structures & Devices Lab, Materials Research Centre, Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore Indian institute of Science, Bangalore, India.

Thesis Title: “Methyl Ammonium Lead Iodide Thin Films grown by Pulsed Laser Deposition for Photodetector Applications”. Advisor: Prof. SB Krupanidhi.

• M.Sc. in Physics (Department of Physics) Kuvempu University Shankaraghatta, Shimoga, Karnataka, India.

Academic Achievements:

1. Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD) India fellowship (2012-2018). 2. Cleared all the Ph.D. entrance exams conducted at the National level (CSIR-UGC, JEST, GATE & IISc Entrance Exam).

Research Topics:

1. Synthesis & growing of Chalcogenide and Perovskite halides thin films. 2. Material characterization, Optical characterization and Electrical characterization of these materials. 3. Utilizing the electrical, Optical and other properties of these materials in understanding the Band gap of the materials to study the various applications i.e., Photovoltaics- Photo detectors and Solar Cells and etc. Current Work:

1. Vis-Near Infrared Photodetectors based on Methyl Ammonium Lead Iodide Thin Films by Pulsed Laser Deposition.

2. Temperature variation and stability of FTO/CH3NH3PbI3 thin films by Pulsed laser deposition. 3. FTO/CH3NH3PBI3 thin films grown by Pulsed laser deposition at room temperature and followed by annealing.

4. FTO/TiO2/CH3NH3PbI3 by Pulsed Laser Deposition for Self-Photodetectors. 5. FTO/TiO2/CH3NH3PbI3/Spiro-OMTAD hetero structure by Pulsed Laser Deposition for Self- Photodetectors.

6. FTO/TiO2/MoS2/CH3NH3PbI3/Spiro-OMTAD hetero structure by Pulsed Laser Deposition for Solar Cell Applications.

Experimental Skills:

1. Synthesis of Thin films:

• Physical vapor deposition methods: DC-RF Magnetron sputtering and Pulsed Laser depositions.

• Other methods like Spin coating, Thermal Vapor deposition, E-beam Evaporation, etc. 2. Fabrication of devices:

• Experience of working in Class 1000 clean room for fabrication of devices, Operation of EVG Double sided mask aligner, e-beam evaporation, etc. 3. Electrical and materials characterization:

• Electrical measurements using Keithley 2600 series, Agilent B 1505 Semiconductor Analyzer.

• Materials characterization using Scanning Electron Microscope, Transmission electron microscope, Raman spectroscopy, UV-Vis spectroscopy, Atomic Force Microscope, XPS, PL-TRPL, FIB-FESEM, Solar Simulation & Quantum efficiency measurements, etc Computer Skills:

1. Basics of ANSYS, COMSOL, MATLAB, Lab VIEW.

2. Basics of C programming language.
