EXPERIENCE
Through Kaggle competitions and numerous books, I’m very comfortable with the machine learning pipeline from preprocessing and feature engineering (e.g., aggregations and data reduction) to model selection and validation (e.g., ensembles, hyperparameter search methods, cross-validation). I’m currently developing a dashboard. It will take research relevant terms (e.g., self-control, polygenic risk), and use these terms as input into scientific article databases, and then perform text processing on those articles. Functions will include extracting p-values and their mean (e.g., per research domain), and create tag clouds and normalized citation scores for frequently occurring terms. EDUCATION
