Communicate directly with engineers in Japan for the design of the ASRS system
Perform system throughput calculations using simulation programs
Develop sequence of operations and work flow for the design of WCS and WMS
Develop and manage detailed specifications including building requirements, equipment specifications, operation procedures, and final design specifications
oEquipment specifications include: racking, stacker crane, fire suppression, system electrical and component placement, network system configuration, conveyor hardware and controls
Develop scope of work for projects including assumptions and exclusions
Develop RFQs for various types of contractors such as racking systems, installation, and conveyor systems
Develop pricing estimates of proposed ASRS systems
Visit customer facilities to consult customer requirements and ASRS design
Develop project schedule with milestones for the implementation of the ASRS
Work and consult with architects and general contractors to complete the installation of ASRS systems
Manage project budget and scope to ensure that the project is completed as specified
Develop and perform system acceptance test with customer for final system acceptance
Create and implement new engineering processes for design review, project change requests, and lessons learned
Develop safety procedure for entering ASRS system during automatic operation
