Position: Clerk-Typist - St. Charles Adult Education Centre (July 2008 to Present)
Duties: Presently my duties include inputting attendance for the Linc and Esl programs into Clars and scanning Credit Program attendance sheets. Weekly printing of attendance sheets. Over the course of my time at St. Charles my duties included, registering and inputting Esl students into Inkwell and Clars registering and inputting Linc students into Ars and Clars. Also registering for Lbs, High School Credit and Computer Workshops, accept payment for course and record it. Booking appointments for counselors, switchboard duties, typing letters, filing, photocopying. Running monthly photocopier usage report, calling in service calls for photocopiers.
Position: Clerk-Typist - Immaculate Heart of Mary (September 2007 to June 2008)
Duties: Entering attendance into Trillium, calling parents if child is absent, typing letters, memo’s, photocopying. Answering phone calls and looking after the children when hurt or sick.
Position: Library Clerk - N.M.C. (November 2004 to January 2006)
Duties: Processing library materials to all elementary and secondary schools in the mornings. In the afternoons I worked in the Instructional Services Department, assisting the five secretaries with typing and filing.
Position: Clerk-Typist - St. Thomas More Secondary (January 1990 to November 2004)
Duties: Guidance Department - computer input into SAS, student timetables, registration, schedule maintenance, transcripts, reports cards, month and year-end reports for the ministry. Filing and maintenance of OSR files, answering telephone inquiries, handling teacher, student and parent requests.
Main Office - type letters, memo’s, inputting and updating registrations in Trillium. Photocopier resource person, replace toner, fusers, xerographic and feed rollers. Place service calls. Monthly Xerox copy count, report count to all department heads. Assign Xerox numbers to staff. Prepare and email lunchroom supervisor’s hours to board every two weeks. Type, package and prepare all materials for exams. Answer phones, assist students and parents at front counter. Prepare G.S.T. rebate in Microsoft excel.
Attendance Office - answer phones, take information regarding student attendance and input into Trillium. Hand out admit and demit slips, Type suspension letters, dress code violation letters. Scan all attendance sheets through scanner, input lates manually. Answer teacher pages from classroom. Assist students, parents and teachers at counter.
Position: Clerk-Typist - Instructional Services (3 month term)
Duties: Opening and maintaining central files, preparation of case presentation table and school table. Preparation of bi-weekly agenda for team meetings, typing social work reports, assessment reports, monthly mileage sheets.
Position: Clerk-Typist - St. Charles (7 month maternity leave)
Duties: Registration of adult students into ESL, LBS and Credit courses. Input bi-weekly payroll hours for teaching staff, consumable order, requisition orders, monthly teacher lesson counts, monthly bus pass report. Typing letters and memo’s for Principal. Prepare bank deposits of all monies collected and keep track of petty cash. Handling phone inquires, placing service calls for photocopier.
Position: Acting Guidance Secretary - St. Thomas More High School (3 month term)
Duties: Responsible for guidance secretary duties.
Position: Library Clerk - Itinerant Elementary Schools (4 months)
Duties: Maintain circulation of library materials, shelve materials, repair books, assist students and staff. One school had the computerized Columbia Library system where I ran daily backup reports.
