1.200 To floating crane:

- Project: construction of King Abdul Aziz containers terminal port. Lifting and fitting of 700 tones concrete blocks into the Sea water.

Production Control Division – Crane operator

1– Knowledge’s and abilities:

-Know the working equipment and crane operation rules;

-Know and follow the signaling code instruction’s;

-Know, follow and permanent applying of the requirements and tasks regarding safety performance of the requested maneuverings;

-Good knowledge of mechanic parts of the cranes;

-Ability to give and receive emergency instructions, oral safety warnings, instructions and task assignments;

-Ability to read and understand machine and equipment diagrams and system schematics;

-Ability to perform crane maneuvering in order to avoid load balancing and socks appearance;

-Ability to estimate the necessary time for complete brake of the crane;

-Ability to safely and efficiently operate bulk moving equipment in tight, cramped spaces and in, around and above other workers;

-Able to train new members and provide leadership and motivation to them;

2– Key Responsibilities:

-Looking and perform safety and security inspection of crane, daily prior to use;

-Ensure complete paperwork for service quality summaries; Identify crane defective parts and malfunctions. Maintain and update crane report.

-Ensure that speed and direction of crane and hoist movement are in compliance with given instructions.

-Grease, adjust and make emergency remedial repairs to equipment, where necessary;

-Participated to revision, maintenance, repair and inspections of the cranes;

-Manipulated or depressed crane controls to regulate speed and direction;

-Used the load chart to ensure sufficient crane capacity;

-Responsible for maintaining cranes against overloading.

-Ensured proper signals for crane operations.

-Followed safety procedures during crane operations in changeable weather conditions.

3– Operation activities experience:

1.000 to portal crane:

-Performing maneuverings of Main Engines for installation on position on board of the ships.

-Maneuvering large blocks of steel, weighing tones.

480 To gantry cranes:

-Moving of heavy steel blocks and superblocks, equipment’s and materials on the yard platform.

15 - 120 To Portico cranes:

-Loading & unloading of materials, supplies, equipment’s from quay to ships, from ships to quay.

-Performing maneuverings of the concrete keel blocks for docking different types of ships.

-Performing maneuverings with the footbridge during hull ships water washing, blasting and painting works.

-Unloading steel plate and profiles from ships to quay.

-Performing maneuverings of the nacelle, with people.

Tower Cranes:

- Maneuverings for fabrication of welding panels and assembly areas.
