In the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina, I was nominated by my Branch Manager for an assignment in the White House Communications Agency. I was selected for this prestigious detail and honored to extend my military service to the Office of the President of the United States.

United States Army, June 1995 – Present
Senior Logistics Officer, 1st Artillery Division, Combat Aviation Brigade, U.S. Army, Fort Bliss, Texas, November 2016 – Present
Manage logistical support for 1st Armored Division; plan, coordinate, and synchronize logistics and tactical measures for 24,000 soldiers and 250,000 pieces of equipment, including maintenance, administration, health services, etc.
Support Division Headquarters mission capabilities for three Brigade Combat Teams, a Combat Aviation Brigade, a Sustainment Brigade, the 1st Armored Division Artillery (DIVARTY), and separate brigades assigned to Fort Bliss.
Organize logistic details for all aviation missions and monitor overall unit compliance with governing policies, procedures, and industry standards; execute G4 Audit Readiness program and Class VII Asset Management program.
Direct and implement the Command Supply Discipline Program (CSDP); successfully provide leadership for logistical teams to achieve highest ratings during inspections for Aviation Resource Management Surveys (ARMS) and CSDP.
Utilize state-of-the-art, web-based, logistics and finance software, i.e., Global Combat Support System-Army (GCSS-A), to process documents, execute logistics operations, and sustain 100% accountability.

Logistics Information Warehouse/AESIP Army Enterprise Systems Integration Program (LIW/AESIP) – This is a database system used to hold additional logistical applications to assist in planning logistics and shipments of new equipment.
