Accountable for accurate and consistent preparation and execution of the project mechanical work scope, assembly and installation. Adherence to the selected erection sequence in accordance with the project schedule. Preparation of all associated mechanical dossiers for handover. Commissioning and punch list walkdown of all equipment prior to handover.

Inspect all drawings & red line various corrections for As Built completion.

Seconded to Commissioning as Senior Lead in Mechanical (1994-1996) at the AMEC yard in Wallsend and on the Cormorant ‘A’ gas lift module job (Pelican). My responsibilities were to manage a small multi-disciplined squad, commissioning and associated commissioning work packs. I also supervised the installation & alignment of Sulzer and Peter Brotherhood Compressors, turbines and various drivers; this was in conjunction with vendor engineers for completion of hand-over documents, thereby assuring the safe operation of plant and equipment. Familiar with most rotary and static equipment.

• Shutdown Preparatory (TAR rep) mechanical organizer for planned shutdowns.

Mechanical Supervisor/Commissioning Technician Tern Alpha

HVAC, installation and preservation of all platform and drilling equipment, rotary/static Commissioning of all Drilling Equipment (from mud pumps to drill floor rotary table).
