DO NOT CALL ME. EMAIL ME.

*****.*******@*****.***

Hello !

My 84-year-old Mother has recently passed away after a long illness, a day after her 84th birthday, but I still have estate matters to take care of, so I am still looking for a REMOTE position.

For the last 6 years I have been solely studying the .NET technology stack, emphasizing C#. I will startle you with what I know; I will startle you with what I don't know. I started at the bottom with ADO and OLE, worked my way to ASP, including ASP web controllers, ASP web forms (including MVC 3, 4 and 5), ASP Web Pages, then moved on to ENTITY FRAMEWORK, WCF, RESTful web services, OData and OAuth, ORMs, SHAREPOINT and SILVERLIGHT, and finally moved on to front-end software such as ANGULARJS, BOOTSTRAP, EMBER, UNDERSCORE, KNOCKOUT and others. I have also studied SQL Server, Windows Server, Active Directory, Workflow Foundate ion, Access, Excel, XML, XAML, WPF and multiple other subjects. Lately I have studied CISCO routers, switches, gateways, ASA devices and wireless communications, including autonomous and lightweight access points. I have recently undertaken a study of ETHICAL HACKING, which teaches you hacking methods, and how to defend against them.

I am currrently studying ANGULARJS, ANGULAR, WEBPACK, FIREBASE, REACT,

ASP.NET Core, Microsoft AZURE and LINUX CENTOS 7.2.

I present myself as an entry-level to (because of my mainframe experience) mid-level candidate. I have as yet no paid experience in the .NET world.

As a young man, I was trained as a minister, and have a Masters degree in Theology. Then, at age 29, I began programming computers, and have done that ever since. Since 1988, I have worked on HP NONSTOP TANDEM computers and have held some prestigious positions, including being part of a three-man team that ran BANKONE’s wire-transfer systems out of Columbus, Ohio, responsible for $250-billion-a-day (over $1.5 TRILLION a week).

Again, I'd love to talk to you about your REMOTE position.

Sincerely,

Jeff McVey
