Al Udeid AB, Qatar

Deployed to Al Udeid AB, Qatar - Security Response Force member/Security Specialist. Supported operations in region through collaborative security with Foreign National Army and other US Branches to safeguard 6,300 US/Coalition personnel & $4B in critical war fighting assets. Secured AFCENT’s largest munitions storage site (5,000 munitions, $2.1B value) enabled downrange lethality. Reacted to 18 In-Flight Emergencies (IFEs) by securing travel routes and shielded $824M in warfighting assets with no disruption to Air Expeditionary Wing (AEW) mission. Performed physical security and alarm responses to three Higher Headquarters facilities secured eight Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility (SCIFs)/$300M in Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) mission. Properly trained 22 airmen on Physical Security procedures for three Higher Headquarters facilities, ensuring uninterrupted procedures for Forwarded Headquarters Commanders.

Wright Patterson AFB, OH- Program Administrator for Bike Gate Access Control System; lead and trained eight Security Clerks on recording and coding physical security access for over 500 employees requesting Bike Gate Access. Responsible for reporting quarterly to the Installation Commander on removal of access for personnel no longer authorized access. Ensured 100% accountability and physical control of program and support equipment. Conducted over 25,000 suitability determinations and criminal history checks utilizing Law Enforcement Agencies Data Systems (LEADS) for individuals requesting unescorted access to WPAFB. Determinations effect the interactions of screened personnel and their interactions with Higher Headquarters Generals and equivalents. Showed ability to take charge and actively resolve stressful situations. While vetting base visitors, analyzed read backs of individuals and compared background information with list of unsuitability from a base access list and made determinations against over 500 individuals as not being suitable for unescorted base access. While working in the only customer service center for Security Forces at WPAFB, I would interact with approximately 900 visitors weekly to include: military family members, retirees, military dependents, and civilian dependents, patients of Veteran Affairs, Boy Scouts of America members, and Distinguished Guests. During those interactions, I would answer phone calls, proficiently resolve problems, and in situations that did not warrant base access give those individuals the correct information and if possible direct them to the right office for assistance. Trained eight peers and subordinates in performance of duties, including use of security platforms and computer operating systems, as well as security procedures and vetting procedures. Trained 10 subordinates on certifying and granting installation physical security access to over 500 Air Force Material Command (AFMC) joint civilian and military. Temporarily filled critical role of Security Manager issued 60 critical Restricted Area Badges. Received requests from 88 ABW leadership requiring strict vetting for special events, and would prioritize the daily workload and accomplish those requests within a suitable timeframe for the event. Completed Security Manager and DISS/JPAS trainings at WPAFB.

Assistant Area Supervisor to Base Housing ensuring that 3,400 personnel are given peace of mind at home, first responder to emergencies within three housing communities. Enabled NASIC Mission by monitoring and assessed over 100 alarms for Department Intelligence Agency’s (DIA) largest SCIF preserving $90M joint intelligence assets. Lead airman on a two-person security team that operated under SMSgt Small that was responsible for clearing 520 personnel with background checks and issuing 310 special security badges including 172 General Officers and Secretary of the Air Force for CORONA TOP conference. Completed assignments with several agencies to include: Security Forces Investigations (S2I), Air Force Office of Special Investigations (AFOSI), and civilian law enforcement agencies. Apprehended and performed 12 warrant hits on individuals attempting base access with active warrants. Searched and authorized over 3,000 commercial vehicles requesting access to WPAFB.
