Responsibilities included: general project management, development of site clean-up strategy, serving as liaison with legal department, budgeting/forecasting of spending, regulatory negotiations with U.S Environmental Protection Agency (US EPA), remedial design and construction, serving as corporate representative on Potentially Responsible Party (PRP) Group, settlement negotiations and payment, and contractor oversight. Developed the corporate Waste Management Program which led to the improved management, tracking and disposal of hazardous wastes generated by corporate facilities.

Regulatory Affairs Analyst 1996 - 1997

Monitored, analyzed and developed corporate waste management policies regarding new and existing Federal/State regulations to all corporate facilities to assist with the development of local compliance programs. Developed corporate position statements and regulatory comments on proposed regulations to regulatory agencies. EARLY CAREER 1987 - 1992

Began engineering career as an Environmental Auditor of chemical manufacturers for compliance with the Toxic Substances Control Act and other environmental regulations for USEPA, Region V. Required the ability to interpret regulations and audit their practical implementation among manufactures for compliance with the law. Later as an Environmental Engineer consultant, leveraged the knowledge gained from USEPA to conduct numerous Phase I and II environmental assessments, lead remedial design projects, provide consulting services on managing environmental issues and prepare environmental permit applications for clients across various industries.
