Self-driving in simulation environment (Summer 2018)
-Using Unreal 4 simulation environment AirSim, capturing road images and steering angle as training data and labels
-Using Python library Keras to build a CNN model with 80-90% success rate to do self-driving in the AirSim environment.
Gender and age recognition (Summer 2018)
-Using IMDB data set as training data and used Python library Tensorflow to build a model to do gender classification and age recognition
-Applying the model with a real-time PC camera, showing tester’s gender and age through the PC camera.
Iceberg Classifier Deep Learning Challenge (Fall 2017)
-Using Tensorflow to build a CNN model and training with image data set to identify icebergs or ships in satellite images, which has 88.5% accuracy.
Biometrics Security System (Spring 2017)
-Building up security system with a microcontroller, Raspberry Pi, fingerprint Scanner, and electric lock, using Python library Tkinter and MySQL for GUI and database programming.
