Kaggle Competitions
• Titanic: Machine Learning from Disastere (Ranking: 462/9985 teams (Top 5%), Accuracy: 0.81818)
– Performed exploratory data analysis. Utilized data visualization and data preprocessing to clean data, imputed the missing values and performed feature engineering to create new features.
– Implemented Random Forest model and used grid search to fine-tune hyperparameters.
– Predicted survival on the Titanic.
• House Prices: Advanced Regression Techniques (Ranking: 717/3283 teams (Top 22%), RMSE: 0.11696)
– Utilized data visualization and data preprocessing to clean data, imputed the missing values and performed feature engineering to create new features and modify old features.
– Implemented model ensembeling (stacking) using models such as Lasso Regression, Kernel Ridge Regression, Gradient Boosting Regression, XGBoost and LightGBM. Computed model scores using cross validation.
– Predicted house sales prices.
• Rossmann Store Sales (RMSPE: 0.18488)
