United States Forest Service Wildland Firefighter 2, Willows March 2017 - Present On-Call Type Two Hand Crew
Summer 2017: Fought fire and did project work in the Mendocino National Forest
● Fought fire on an initial attack by cutting fire line with hand tools.
● Cleared brush for future prescribed burns.
● Cleaned and rolled up hoses, after mopping up the fire. Summer 2018: Fought fire on the Eel River Fire and the Ranch Fire
● Worked on campaign fire clearing brush, cutting line, and putting in large amounts of hose lay.
● Mopped up a large fire and hiked to isolated hotspots with a hose pack.
