Then I Designed Draw Field Take-up Machine for Antistat Fiber with a draftsman working under me the last year.

Jobs Performed: Tool Designer for Lost Foam Assembly Fixturing to glue foam patterns for casting aluminum engine parts. Design entailed calculations of shrink rates, thermal growth, measurements derived through geometry and trigonometry.

I was contracted out to American Enka Company, Central Engineering for 11 months, where I did the Design and drafting on the all new M14 DowTherm heated Bi-Component Spin Beam, Polymer lines and floor layout for R&D, that later became the Colback M1 Spin Beam. Then 3 months in American Enka Company’s R & D. Then I was then moved to National Gear Just sold to Magnetic International (now Perfection Gear) where I did their original CNC equipment tooling.

I did in-house projects for Square D Company and Stencil Areo.

August 1979 to May 1981 - Direct Employment: Salary Non-Exempt
