I have been collecting and inputting all stroke data for the emergency room since June 2016. Every month I calculate from the time a patient enters the emergency room, when the stroke is called, and when orders are entered, sent and resulted. I provide this data to laboratory leadership for the hospital stroke committee. I have assumed the responsibility of collecting all specimen rejection data for the entire hospital. I track what orders were cancelled, the reason why, and who collected the orders. I send the data monthly to the Main Line Health Laboratory system Quality Manger.
