Major : Compressed Air Vehicle
Abstract : A compressed air engine works on air as fuel to drive the pistons and produce mechanical output without causing any harm to the environment. The engine takes in compressed air instead of using traditional fuels such as petrol diesel etc.The Engine used for the project was four stroke which was then converted to two stroke. CURRENT STATUS
Minor : Mini Hacksaw (Beam Engine)
Abstract : A beam engine mechanism is one where we use an overhead beam to create motion. Here we use a beam engine motion based assembly in order to achieve hack saw cutting motion using a circular cutting disc. Our system uses a motorized disc to drive a connector which is in turn connected to an overhead beam. Doing dissertations with CSIR-NPL New Delhi in the Physico-Mechanical Department. DISSERTATION
WORK
DESIGN OF ROADSIDE NOISE BARRIER USING ARTIFICIAL NEURAL NETWORKING. Our work represents the use of artificial neural network modeling for the design of noise barrier in urban traffic. Designing of the noise barrier and computing insertion loss with classical approach is a difficult task. Artificial neural network provides the least error when compared with the other available techniques for noise monitoring .All the theoretical and experimental work had been conducted at National Physical Laboratory(A unit of CSIR).
