Duties and Responsibilities as Site Manager:

Setup and organization of the Camps Operations

Responsible for the day to day operations of the site and the good respect of contractual obligations.

Maintains good relations with his colleagues and clients.

Attends all meetings (both internal & with clients) related to his function and area of responsibility.

Creates & implements procedures, manages and controls all aspects of operations to meet budgeted targets

Respects all budgetary targets and guidelines.

Guarantees operational results (profitability & costing)

Ensures the good respect of the contract and identifies and develops newly identified market opportunities.

Guarantees the good execution of the contract

Prepares in collaboration with the different department/site managers the end of month management documents and guarantees their exactness.

Establishes end of month management summaries, P&L statements and ensures adequate formal and informal reporting to the country manager and head office.

Elaborates commercial business development plans

Ensures the Monthly Activity Summary report is completed and transmits it to the country manager

The position requires both office work and field supervision. Duties and Responsibilities as Quality, Health, Safety & Environment Manager:

Supervises implementation of the Occupational Health & Safety and Environmental Management System and Food Safety Management System aligned to client's requirements.

Consistently monitors day-to-day compliance to QHSE and Food Safety standards across all operations.

Formulates relevant procedures, reviewing and updating them as needed to suit operational requirements.

Prepares and reviews Job Safety Analysis (JSA), Risk Assessments and other relevant documents required by the operation.

Investigates and formulates corrective and preventive actions for operational gaps, mitigate hazards & improve current systems & procedures.

Conducts regular internal QHSE and Food Safety inspections and audits. Likewise facilitates external audits by the client and/or government agencies.

Conducts trainings and employee inductions, leads Toolbox Talks & Safety meetings.

Mentoring of local and national PNG staff to escalate effective transfer of skills.

Provides safety performance updates to management; generates performance reports and other relevant data required by the client. Duties and Responsibilities as Catering/Food Safety Supervisor:

Prepare and cook food as defined by the Catering Service, including any special dietary needs

The supervision of staff and allocation of duties

Prepare menus and food within the guidelines issued.

Carry out staff training.

Carry out food lost control as required

The checking and recording of all food received, the quantities of ingredients used and the number of meals produced and served

Carry out all clerical duties as required, including all cash related duties

Ensure the cleanliness of the kitchen, its equipment and surround

Ensure the security of the kitchen, associated stores and surround.

Ensure the Food Hygiene, HACCP and Health and Safety Regulations are adhered to at all times.

Ensure that the Health and Safety at Work Act as defined by the County Council is observed within the kitchen and report any accidents in the kitchen or complaints regarding staff welfare.

Report faults in equipment and request necessary day to day maintenance of premises.

Ensure that all staff work the required hours and that the correct break periods are observed.

Ensure that no food is removed from the premises

Be prepared to give practical help in any part of the kitchen should the need arise
