Production Manager – in charge of injection and compression moulding sections. Responsible for a workforce of 80 men. Stock control/production planning and waste control.

Ensuring all aspects of Safety is adhered to by NOSA.

2000 to 2006 – Corobrik Effingham KZN

Production Manager - in charge of brick making, packing, firing and drawing in four Hoffmann Klins. Compliment of 800 men per shift. Responsible for running the factory including discipline. Ensuring enough raw materials was supplied from the quarry. Responsible for all breakdowns. Managing the planned maintenance of the machinery.

Responsible for compiling all weekly and monthly reports for the management meetings. Reporting directly to the Factory Manager.

2006 to 2011– Hydraulic Excellence JHB

Workshop Manager - Repairs and maintenance done to all Forklift and Earthmoving equipment and machinery.

Repaired all Hydraulic equipment and manufacture spare parts for Hydraulic equipment.

Repair & Manufacture hydraulic cylinders. Repair and replace valves on all makes of Hydraulic equipment.

Factory installations of hydraulic machines and commissioning of the machines.

Maintenance includes rebuild motors and gearbox differentials and all hydraulic repairs.

Manufacture spares for crushers and all general engineering.

In charge of field service technicians. Ensuring breakdown deadlines are met. Ensuring spare availability for field services.

Ensuring machines are serviced at their regular intervals

2011 to Nov 2016– (TNB) Thirsty Now Beverages

Production Manager – Staff compliment of 40 People

Maintaining a safe working environment, implementing safety procedures to achieve departmental safety goals.

Plan and direct work according to production schedules.

Disciplining and rewarding employees when necessary.

Overseeing the mixing of alcohol according to the recipes to ensure no wastage and correct controls are in place as hygiene is of utmost importance.

Responsible for all aspects of staff management; production planning; quality control and maintenance scheduling of this bottling facility.

Overseeing stock control and dispatch.

Ensuring the smooth running of day to day production.

Ensuring the vehicles and containers are loaded correctly as per the requirements/orders from head office for local and export orders.

Coordinating maintenance to machinery according to manufacturing requirements. Ensuring minimal disruption to the production.

TNB relocated to Cape Town due to a buy-out from an International investor.

TNB’s bottling facility was based in Centurion and closed down at the end of November 2017

We chose as a family not to relocate to CPT.

2017 – May 2018 - Leo Hydraulics

Factory Manager – Staff compliment of 15 people

Overseeing the pumps and cylinder departments.

Responsible for smooth running of the factory including managing the budgets/overtime and HR issues

Responsible for instituting ISO.

Leasing with shareholders and directors on company progress.

Unfortunately due to loss of business in the mining industry, the Cylinder Department closed at the end of April 2018.

I do believe; I have great people’s skills, interacting and building relationships at all levels.

I have a sound understanding of effective management processes and what is expected to perform at all levels on a daily basis.

I am a Hydraulic Specialist and not afraid to get my hands dirty. I have many years experience in problem solving and on all hydraulic equipment and heavy earth moving equipement and machinery.

I have many years experience on a lath and can manufacture cyclinders etc.

At present I rebuild and repair tractors and other hydraulic equipment on a farms.

I am punctual and trustworthy.
