Responsible for successful launch of Honda RDX interior trim through APQP gate processes.
Reduction of RDX Scrap throughout the value stream, using continuous improvement tactics. Emphasis on standardized work methods, cycle time reduction. Overall reduction of $56,000 in 16 weeks through kaizen activities and process modifications.
Implementation of levelized production system (Hiejunka) for RDX material through value stream.
Responsible for COQ reports for Honda and all Tier one customers to Honda and report out to upper Management on a monthly basis.
Lead customer contact for Honda customers, including all Tier ones. Customer communication for any quality issues related to Honda product, including completion of corrective action documents (A3, 8D, 5-P’s IPAAR’s).
Use of Mini-tab to understand SPC data for use in improving processes and historical data.
Created inspection standards for Honda interior trim based on HES information and negotiated approval with Honda during launch of program.
Responsible for CPK studies along with Gage R&R for Honda new launch programs.

APS Team Leader
Lead instructor for APS at the Springfield facility. Teaching all Associates lean manufacturing including, 5S+1 Takt time, cycle time reduction focusing on eliminating waste in the processes.
Responsible for all 5-S+1 activities and training of all Associates.

Reduced inventory by $2.6 million, through Value Stream Mapping activities and understanding areas that could needed improvement through the use of lean manufacturing activities.
