● Patient intake/rooming patients, preparation for pre-op and post-op procedures.

● Obtain Authorization for Surgical Procedures

● Cast and suture removal/ Prep for injections

● Responsibilities include scheduling patients for multiple hospitals and surgical centers, obtaining medical clearances, authorizations and scheduling pre-admission testing. Front Office and Administration Skills:

● Computerized appointment/surgery scheduling, medical terminology and transcription, 10-key by touch, chart preparation, faxing, filing. Triaging patient calls, prepare authorizations and referrals. Prescription refills, Hippa knowledge and customer service.

● Scheduled ER ~ Call schedule for 12 Orthopaedic Dr’s.

● Computer software knowledge: Word, Excel, Medisoft, Internet, EMR Systems

● Dress appropriately and professional.

● Work accurately and in a timely manner. Excellent oral, written & telephone communication skills, along with tact, diplomacy, and strong customer service orientation. Education and Employment:
