PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

CNC OPERATOR/PROGRAMMER, GREER STOP BOLT 3/2109 to present

Operate and program CNC machines making parts for military, aviation, and aerospace clients. Use all manner of gauges and devices to create parts to very tight tolerances. I run two state-of-the art Bridgeports at a time, and check samples regularly to make sure they meet the .003” tolerances the clients require. They are very happy with me and this work is second nature to me because I have 15 years of experience programming, operating, and training personnel on CNC machines. I work 6 days a week, 10 hours a day. I’m never late and I am always the first operator back from breaks and lunch.

CAD DESIGNER, LOCHINVAR 2018 to 2/2019

I recently completed an assignment doing Solidworks 3D assemblies and drawings for Lochinvar, the world leader in water heaters. I worked in the Tank Division converting legacy Solid Edge materials and highly detailed tank assemblies into Solidworks. Lochinvar is probably the most lucrative place I have ever worked, and they are extremely well-organized and held accountable to ASME and ANSI standards. They use the SAP ERP application to coordinate every aspect of their operations. It is a very complex environment. I was always early, and never missed a single day.

INDEPENDENT CONTRACTOR 2016-2018

After Gibson went bankrupt and discharged 60% of their top earners, I worked many different jobs. I worked 3 jobs, seven days a week for 2 years. Much warehouse, QC, equipment driver, shipping/receiving, etc. at too many places to mention. I spent a full year driving warehouse equipment and doing QC and shipping assistance at Home Depot’s busiest distribution center. I was in the top 5 of order fulfillment personnel on my shift. My lack of an engineering degree was holding me back, so I took the initiative to find more gainful employment and A.O. Smith, owner of Lochinvar, found my resume online on their website.
