Built Waterlog: An motivational app that records user’s water intake with a special self-measuring cup, checks if the user is hydrated, and sends notifications to remind the user to drink enough water to meet the daily goal.

Implemented with iOS app and Arduino hardware sensor. Used Firebase to allow dynamic data storage.

Resumaker – Web-Scraping Resume Generator – Full-stack Developer June 2018 – Current https://resumaker-alpha.herokuapp.com/

Resumaker helps engineers to save time when applying for different jobs. The user only needs to input a comprehensive resume, then every time a job description URL is given, Resumaker scrapes the job’s web page, detects required skills, and generates a resume that makes the best fit.

Improves 80% of job applying efficiency comparing to manual applications.

Built backend server with Node.js. Implemented database with MongoDB and Mongoose. Authenticates users with JSON Web Token. Enables CORS. Encrypts and validates user passwords with bcrypt. Created RESTful API.

Built frontend with React.js framework. Implemented routing with react-router-dom, managed states with Redux. Used Axios and AJAX to make HTTP request. Deployed with Heroku and Git.
