Professional: I am both a technical and a company leader. When faced with the problem of doing air pollution source sampling with inadequate methods and equipment, I developed new and better ones. I then started newsletters and professional organizations to professionalize the industry. When starting my own company, I made it the biggest and best in the field. When starting my training and consulting company, I made it the best. I am considered the expert in my field and often called the grandfather of stack sampling. I have written 46 publications, presentations and papers.

Co-authored the F-factors which are methods to convert concentrations to pounds per. million BTU (the basis for Method 19).
