Read the Drawings Carefully and check the parts as per the drawing.

Verification of documents for incoming consumables & materials as per applicable codes and specifications.

Confirm all welding consumables are provided on a timely basis in accordance with applications, work place safety and client specifications approved.

Monitor Electrode oven use and temperatures daily.

Ensures all welding equipment is appropriately maintained in accordance with the manufacturers preferred maintenance and validate certificate of calibration of welding equipment & inspection instrument.

Co-ordinate for preparing WPS, PQR and Welder Qualification test.

Witness for welder qualification test

Witness for qualifying welders as per approved WPS.

Expedite all welding repairs and ensure timely completion.

Ensure that all welding procedures are followed in area of responsibility.

Ensure all welders fully understand their roles and responsibilities prior to welding.
