LexisNexis’ CounselLink solution - is a SaaS (Software as a Service) solution for in-house counsel and their outside law firms to manage legal billing processes.

As part of this project, created a few interfaces/integrations to and from Oracle EBS to LexisNexis eBilling system.

The objective of this project is to create legal vendor invoices in the ebilling application and to interface the same to Oracle EBS.

VMware currently manages Vendor setup, Matter Management, Law Firm billing process manually through email exchange with the Outside Counsel/Law Firms.

With this project, Legal wants to implement a SaaS based eBilling solution for basic matter management and automate law firm billing process – from submission of electronic invoices through review, transfers to Oracle and payment tracking.

Solvency II is a new risk based regulatory requirement for insurance and reinsurance organizations that operate in the European Union. It deals with the adequacy of capital allocation and risk management to protect policyholders.

The new system is intended to offer insurance organizations incentives to better measure and manage their risk situation – i.e. lower capital requirements, lower pricing etc.

The Purpose of this project is to build a Solvency II Data layer for Quarterly/Annual reporting purposes. Different types of financial reports are generated out of this layer.

These journal files will consist of Income Statement (IS) and Balance Sheet (BS) ledger entries and represent monthly financial movements.
