CRITI is a long term shelter for homeless single women and women with children. Shift managers handle the weekend, evening, and overnight hours to provide 24 hour staffing. Primary responsibilities are to, overall, ensure things run smoothly. Supervise volunteers, assist participants, and develop positive relationships with the participants and their children. Documentation of shift events and other paperwork as needed. Occasionally assist participants in cooking when volunteers don't provide dinner. I should add that this is a part time position and that I will continue to volunteer at CRITI after I locate full time work.
