The goal of business re-engineering efforts was to reduce the application turn-around time from days to hours, through improved process, productivity and monitoring.

• Shortened the enrollment processing time from days to hours by launching the BPM solutions for Individual & Family and Small Group lines of business

• Developed a three-year roadmap for Quote-to-Card initiative that involved building a new platform and launching multiple applications across lines of businesses

• Established a BPM Center of excellence that provided expertise, resources and governance for projects across the company resulting in uniform processes

• Implemented the technology platform using IBM WAS/WPS, FileNet, Oracle and Kofax
