ACADEMIC PROJECT DETAILS

Mini Project:

The title of the project is “Android Controlled Door Lock via Bluetooth”. The main aim of the project is to provide advanced security for home door lock. A password is set in the program given to Arduino board which is connected to Bluetooth module set in the locking circuit. Through an application in a mobile phone a person needs to connect to the Bluetooth module and he should enter the command and password in the app which is connected via Bluetooth to bluetooth module. If the entered password is correct then the lock of the door will be opened/closed through the command given by the user else if, the password entered is wrong then it displays a message in the application .

Major Project:

The title of the project is “Securing the Data in the Cloud Under Key Exposure”. The main aim of the project is to provide data confidentiality even if the encryption and decryption keys are known. Data encrypted and stored in a single server can be compromised by an adversary either by exploiting flaws or backdoors in the key generation software, or by compromising the devices that store the keys. So to achieve data confidentiality we spread cipher text blocks across servers in multiple administrative domains. Thus assuming that the adversary cannot compromise all domains. So that even if the keys are exposed the adversary cannot recover the plain text data.

ACHIEVEMENTS

Achieved a first prize in JNTU Technical Fest in project exhibition in 2017.

Participated in workshop on “BLOGGING” at IARE.
