Training / Site Induction :

Internal safety induction, all employees and visitors are required to attend

induction training courses, this must be done before starting duties on the site.

Mqobo Building Construction will require all their onsite employees to attend

induction course and all the formalities needed to enforce the employee to fully

comply with Occupational Health and Safety Regulation standards of, act no

(85/1993) .

. Occupational Health and Safety Amendment Act no 181/1993

. Occupational Health and Safety Amended by labour Relations Act no 66/1995 .

And the subject to be covered will consist of main topic such as

. Before work inspection form

. Safety harnesses, the safe use therefore prohibiting tampering with it

. Comply with O.H.S and S.H.E plan

. Health and safety policies

. H.I.V,A.I.D.S and TB policies

. PPE policies

. House keeping policies

. Smoking policies

. Ladder policies

. Fall protection plan policies

. Emergency policies

. Job description

Mqobo Building Construction is responsible for arranging entry and exit

medical check ups, is also responsible for peforming internal medicals for their

employees, as per Internal Company Policy and proof of induction will be

audited and verified. The extent to which the induction will take place will

depend on the type of project and construction site, the nature of work to be

done and hazards inherent in that work.

.Extra intesive training will be given to section leaders, supervisors, site

employees at high risk

.On the end of the induction trained workers will recieve a copy of the safety

handbooks, records of all attendance will be checked.
