OBJECTIVE

Looking back on 30+ years in the manufacturing and production environment, 26 of which have been in management, I am of the opinion that my years of experience could be used and helpful to a company looking to start off on the right foot or looking to make the necessary improvements to their current operation that could not only improve their output and efficiency, which of course, adds to the bottom line, but could help them also in training a team of people to work more efficiently and give themselves a sense of accomplishment at the end of the work day. I have worn many hats in my career and been many responsibilities that has led to an enormous amount of experience and knowledge of how to get the most out of people who work for you. Although, not a degreed engineer, I have worked extensively with Robotics and automation from aiding in design with real world input to the robotic programming itself, to tooling design and development in the automotive industry. I took my Paint Division from 15% scrap, 6-day work weeks and poor efficiency to 2% scrap and from 3 shifts to 2 shifts and 5-day work weeks within a year’s time under world class automotive quality standards. This was done by delegating and ensuring those who worked for me were the right people for the job and setting goals for them and holding them accountable. I also wanted to incorporate our associates in having a part in the road to our success by incorporating their continuous improvement ideas and allowing them to participate in the facilitation of those changes which in turn gave them a sense of ownership. I have worked under and maintained ISO quality systems in the automotive industry and also the TS16949 format. My divisions quality were maintained by us. We used our quality issues and defects to develop true root cause analysis and therefore developed true and effective countermeasures then monitored our performance shiftly. I believe I can greatly benefit your company by my work ethic and experience whether it be a Division Manager, Operations Manager, Production Manager role, or whether it might be something more of a consultant role serving multiple facilities. I have done everything from first line supervision, to plant superintendent, to multiple division manager positions and everything in between. I have been around the construction industry for a good portion of my life. I have experience in electrical, plumbing, tile, laminate flooring, furniture making, and have contracted and built 2 homes for resale. I care about what I do and the performance of those I am responsible for and would greatly appreciate consideration in openings you might have that can use me to the companies benefit.
