QUALIFICATIONS

I perform capacity and network planning and implementation; I have good business analyst acumen and a very goal oriented technology professional with over 13 years of experience in the telecommunication sector ranging from ordering, provisioning, design circuits, and deploying of next generation network. I conduct network planning, scheduling of network resources, and perform network optimization, and cost benefit analysis in regards to network expense reductions. I run all new equipment installs, network upgrades as an opportunity for savings with an eye on a return on investment (ROI). WORK EXPERIENCES

Network Implementation - Interconnect Transport Engineer

Verizon Wireless: Folsom, CA – January, 2011 to May, 2017

I provide program and project management, as well as perform network capacity planning, network implementation and optimizations. I collaborate with team members as well as outside vendors to partners launch Verizon’s 4G LTE, XLTE network, carrier aggregation, AWS, PCS, carrier aggregation, in order to enhance spectrum bandwidth for capacity improvements so customers can download at faster speeds than before. I coordinate and give guidance to general contractor regarding ISP and OSP work, also ensure work requirement has been met and vendor is paid for work completed. I prepare and issue bids, (RFI, RFC, RFP, RFQ) and the review awarding bids based on cost and time to complete the work required. I write up and submit contract based on the winning bid for legal department review and management approval. I issue change request and track changes through approval and update project records once changes have been finalized. I provide regular status update to stakeholders and executive management, both internal and external. I am familiar with SLAs, MSAs, MNDAs, and NDAs as it relates to telecommunication industry; I am also knowledgeable with FCC tariffs and the local exchange carrier’s network and order process and escalation procedures. I regularly update stake-holders holders via email and live meetings, occasional lead special projects for cost savings across the savings initiative across the Northern CA and Northern NV for 2016 calendar year. Conduct network move add changes, network cost analysis and facilitate a good return on investment ROI) when performing network upgrades, or adding new equipment. I am very knowledge of Ethernet backhaul, Dark Fiber, CWDM, DWDM, IBR, DAS, Small Cells, CRAN deployments. I order, design and coordinate the installs of, SS7, 2A, 2B, and E911 trunks. I am very proficient with TeleCordia Granite, and Web XNG applications, I am also knowledgeable in the local exchange carrier procurement and ordering processes, and their escalation procedures. During my time at Verizon I was part of the Verizon Crisis Response Team, and was responsible dispatching cell on wheels (COW) and or cell on light trunk, (COLT). These were crucial to emergency responders command center and gave them the necessary technology needed to communicate with their team in the flied and provide real time updates. In some rare situation I redeploy services to another backup command center when if the main command center is compromised and need to be evacuated immediately. Complete the migration of the SureWest, Alltel, and Golden State Cellular GSM network into the legacy Verizon 3G network, and later modernize those network to Verizon’s 4G LTE, XLTE network.
