The goal is to combine New York State’s various application systems while maintain and/or improving processes and retire others. PLANIT GROUP – Deputy - XPO

Sr. Delivery/Program Manager for PLANIT contract with Xerox and State of NY implementing Cyber Security Solutions for NY State’s Medicaid system. Project followed Cyber Security guidelines proven out and confirmed in NIST.SP.800, HIPPAA/HITECH Privacy & Security Assessment & Checklist. This included Executive Steering Committee reviews through all deliverables and oversee a team of 15 on and offsite. Another concurrent project overseen was the IBM ISAM/ISIM (authentication/identity management) which was required under NY State Cyber Security guidelines for multi-factor authentication. Firewall analysis tools such as FireMon and IBM Qradar used for this large state level environment. Palo Alto firewalls including their Threat Prevention, Wildfire Zero-day malware prevention and URL filtering along with IEEE 802.1X standards and PCI Compliance. Team also used HPE/Aruba ClearPass including Guest access control, RADIUS and TACACS+ functionality

General experience with security best practices across network devices (ex. hardening cisco switches, routers, wireless controllers and VPN devices). TATA – JP Morgan Chase – Sr. Project Manager

Sr Project Manager for their large project to satisfy Basil requirements. This involved combining many various information sources through data certification to a Teradata environment. This was then used as ultimate source for satisfy Basel III Risk reporting and management. Oversaw the team of 25 and coordinated executive status meetings.

TATA – Express-Scripts – Sr. Program/Portfolio Manager

Sr Program Manager for their Decommissioning Program as a result of the Express-Scripts/Medco merger. All applications were compared, analyzed, and rated. Then the approximately 118 applications designated for decommissioning had to be careful done with regard to medical, federal, and DOD requirements. This project is for a large DC based Philanthropy /Lobbying/Research company. Oversaw a team of client and IBM consultants. MD Anderson Cancer Center – Houston, TX – Sr. Program Manager

Sr. Program Manager for their PeopleSoft Implementation Finance/Grants (9.1) (incl. OM), SCM (9.1), & EPM Warehouse (OBIEE), Oracle 11gR2 and Upgrade of their HR Modules (9.1). This project is for the world’s largest hospital and under the University of Texas. Oversaw a large team of client and other consulting company consultants. DOD (Department of Defense) – Arlington, VA – Sr. Program/Project Manager

Consultant for the DOD’s organization on various broad, span of control, projects. Reporting to the DoD Program Director. Worked with the Armed Services, DOD, Northrop Grumman, Booze Allen Hamilton, Spry, Revelytix, and many other federal government vendors. He has worked on the DIMHRS (Defense Initiative Military Human Resource System (PeopleSoft HR/Fin/Global Pay), and on the Enterprise Information Warehouse (EIW) (DoD secure web enabled with Ab-Initio, Cognos, W3C, Triple Store, mapping to PeopleSoft HR, and SAP) in all areas of overall project planning including scoping, feasibility, requirements, risk analysis, quality assurance, all integrations (incl. ITIL), and overall WBS schedule. He was also the PM for the Workday, Salesforce, and SAP implementation projects, with the BEA (Business Enterprise Architecture), IRB (Federal Investment Review Board) process, MILHDBK 881(A), and BIP (Business Investment Plan).

On the Workday Implementation, oversaw all activities from gathering HR requirements to data integration, iLoad of data, EIB and Studio for the Integrations, testing, production support and training. IBM Assignments:

American Express – Sr. Project Manager – PeopleSoft Implementation of Finance and CRM. Planned, implemented and managed the Finance and CRM. Finance modules included GL, AP, AR, Billing, Purchasing and others (incl. OM). The CRM was also very well received. After planning and designing the CRM system with the various Business units, we began the development and installation of basic system tables, and security options. Then further design and development set up using common features to multiple CRM applications, such search collections, alternate character, interactive reports, and diagnostic reports. Worker information was then developed and populated. 360 degree views with notes (call messages) for CRM internal (vs external customers) staff users such as salespeople, call center agents, and field service was also implemented. Self-service, managing relationships with customers tools, setup agreements, and warranties were also ultimately featured during this project. All client’s staff was fully trained in the new system.

AAU (Academy of Art University) – San Francisco, CA – Sr. Project Manager – Planned, Implemented and managed the entire scope of this PeopleSoft project of Finance, Campus Solutions, ESS/MSS, and Portal for this large Univerisity in San Francisco. The Campus Solutions included team members in the areas of Academic Advisement, Campus Community, Campus Self Service, Contributor Relations, Financial Aid, Recruiting & Admissions, Student Admin, Student Financials, and Student Records. Financial modules included GL, AP, AR, Billing, OM, etc. Led both technical and functional team leads as well as a diverse group of Higher Education team members in various roles. Held client and separate weekly team status meetings to bring up issues and resolutions. Hosted controlled Fit-Gap, development efforts, and training sessions for all the modules. All team members learned and benefited near and long term from working with each other while on this project in this organization. AVON – Rye, NY – Sr. Project Manager - PeopleSoft HR/Global Pay/T&L/Benefits/ Absence Implementation. Included all hardware, dbase, Servers, Mercer, WFA Lite, and ODM – 117 member team in 60 Countries with 8 core languages. Used IBM and Oracle/PeopleSoft Implementation methodologies. This $10 billion revenue international company with 5.4 worldwide employees project also included Global Payroll, Commitment Accounting, ePerformance, eTime, ePay, eProfile, and eRecruit among the other modules.

Trinity College – Hartford, CT – Sr. Project Manager for implementation of PeopleSoft Campus Solutions and Financials for this Private University – The Campus Solutions project included team members in the areas of Financial Aid, Academic Advisement, Student Financials, Campus Community, Recruiting & Admissions, Campus Self Service, Contributor Relations, Student Admin, and Student Records. Financial modules included GL, AP, AR. An additional special project here was Planning, Evaluation, Designing, and Customizing for special private university endowment needs (i.e. ensuring integrity of endowments, shares, draws, fund allocations/performance, etc.). Trinity College VP Finance (and President) was well pleased and told IBM we should take the custom evaluation and solution to all other private colleges. This successful project also secured additional business for IBM and personal recognition.

NiSource – Merrillville, IN – Project Manager - PeopleSoft HR/Payroll/T&L/Benefits/ Absence (incl. Commitment Acctg) Implementation – Project Manager of all development/Implementation work (6 consulting professionals for a key successful go-live). This successful project ensured IBM continued contract which was in danger of losing due to previous problems with the project.

General Motors – Detroit, MI – Project Manager - PeopleSoft 8.9 EPM Data Warehousing Implementation. Scoped out developed the project plan and tasks. He also defined procedures for ETL to EPM, and data cleansing. Oracle said this was the largest implementation of PeopleSoft 8.9 EPM yet and was very successful. GM then renewed IBM’s contract for this EPM work to be expanded further and was credited to this team’s success. Ascential Datastage ETL tool was used to obtain data from multiple sources. The integration involved cleaning, resolving redundancy, and checking against business rules for integrity. The ODS was used for low level data of pricing transactions. Global Payroll, T&L, ePerformance, and ePay, were among the applications.

State of Delaware – Proposal for PeopleSoft Statewide Government Implementation. Worked on the initial through final proposals as well as formal presentations on-site.

PMI – Walnut Creek, CA – Project Manager - PeopleSoft Financials/SCM Implementation – Responsible for immediately solving a critical foreign country exchange rate issue that had delayed the Financials go-live for over a month.

United Nations – Manhattan, NY– Corporate Project Manager – PeopleSoft ERP (basically all PeopleSoft modules (Finance & HR incl). Worldwide, multi-currency and multi-language. Enterprise Warehouse, Budgeting, and Business Planning were included. Key person responsible for go-live, world-wide, production issues that were resolved in a timely contractual manner. Global Payroll, Benefits, ePerformance, and ePay, were among the modules. Secure T-1 lines were implemented to ensure Cyber Security. Also world-wide access provided through layered security and secure tunnels.

Westchester Community College – Project Manager - ERP (Campus Solutions/HR/FIN/SCM). This large project was necessary due to the business decision to separate from the County and for accreditation. After creating the Project Charter with the Stakeholders, we formulated the Scope Plan, Goals, and deliverables. Developed the Project Plan and then drove the project with both functional and technical team leads as well as a diverse group of Higher Education team members in various roles. Held client and separate weekly team status meetings to bring up issues and resolutions. Hosted Steering Committee reviews, controlled Fit-Gap, development efforts, and training sessions. All team members learned and benefited from working with each other while on this project in NY. Created and managed project management documentation and deliverables such as the Project Charter, Scope Documents, Risk log, Issues Log, Change Control log, Deliverables document, Status Reports and other IBM, PMI, and Oracle/PeopleSoft project management office documentation, methodologies, tools, and techniques. Adelphia – Coudersport, PA – Project Manager -- ERP (HR/FIN/SCM) 8.8 Implementation/Customizations/Interfaces. One major difficulty was the transfer of date from legacy db2 to Oracle dB due to licensing rights. Retained in an ongoing capacity to continue project management on this large scale project. EPerformance, and ePay, were among the modules.

US Navy (DIMHRS) – New Orleans, LA– Project Manager - HRMS/PM/EPM 8.8 Implementation/Development/Customizations/Interfaces. Project Managers on large PM team for the largest PeopleSoft Implementation to-date (DIMHRS). This required fairly high federal government security clearance which was subsequently elevated. Recognized by the Secretary of the Navy talking about the “New Navy” and publicly acknowledged for his work there. Global Payroll, ePerformance, and ePay, were among the modules. Informatica was the tool used for the EPM data warehouse efforts.

Mass. Turnpike Authority – Boston, Mass – Project Manager - PeopleSoft HRMS 8.9 Implementation HR/Ben/Pay/T&L. According to PeopleSoft, this was the first 8.9 anywhere and had to resolve many initial release issues. “Hands-on” Project Manager for this successful project. Reported to the 3rd level from the Governor of Massachusetts for this project.

NSTAR – Boston, Mass - Project Manager - HRMS 8.3 Implementation HR/Ben/Pay/T&L/ESS – Oracle/Unix – “Hands-on” Project Mgr. for this successful project. Included managing some 15 IBM developers among other team members.

United Space Alliance – Houston, Texas – Performed the SQR Data Migration from a legacy system & also PeopleCode Customizations.

Rent-Way – Erie, PA – Performed the Data Migration and a PeopleSoft FDM 8.4 to 8.8 Implementation GL/AP/AR/AM/PO/INV/Billing/Contracts/Projects. Also provided post Go-Live Production Assistance.

Petroleum Geo Services – Houston, TX – Security was highly tightened from dbase to PeopleSoft to web. For this project, was challenged to think like a “hacker/intruder” to “break in” to sensitive data and then fix the control point. This implementation was done by another consulting company and the client called in Mr. Stefura and others to correct the great quantity of issues. Oracle/Unix.

Smurfit Stone – West Point, VA – Project Manager - Performed the PeopleSoft Financials Implementation for GL/AP/AR/AM/PO/INV – Oracle/NT. Also managed the project with the client’s personnel. A feature at the time for this was remote access to PeopleSoft application from very high heat and high altitude locations at this pulp mill.

Rockwell – Cleveland, OH – Project Manager - Successfully performed the PeopleSoft Financials Implementation GL/AP/AR/PO/INV/OM – Oracle/NT

Litton Industries – Agoura Hills, CA – Performed the PeopleSoft HR Implementation HR/BEN/Payroll/T&L – Oracle/Unix. This project also required Fed Govt security clearance.
