Responsible for the safe, effective and sufficient execution of installation, repair and maintenance of instrumentation equipment and accessories to ensure equipment reliability, operational safety and archive equipment maximum service life based on standard procedure, work instruction and approved plan schedule. Responsibilities:

Complete PPE before performing a task in the field.

Familiar in drawings and documentation and plan work activities.

Control valves, Safety relief valves and other critical valves overhauling and repair.

Replacement defective instrument and testing of newly installed parts of the instrument and meter proving.

Prepares the list of spares, tools and other material required for the maintenance jobs and issues the purchase/materials requisitions for the section head approval.

Conduct toolbox meeting with subordinates for discussing safety and methods of completing job tasks.

Organize the work methodically and takes initiative for troubleshooting and gives good technical inputs.

Lead pre-commissioning activities on project sites troubleshoot problem during test.

Supervise contractors and suppliers as instructed. Duties

Set up pallets of testing equipment as preparation for pressure testing complete units (blinds, gaskets, studs & fittings).

Install correct blinds, gaskets, studs and pipe fittings on specified connections.

Test units at specified pressures with necessary medium.

Report any leak(s) or defects found during test to supervisor.

Tested and measured finished products, components, and assemblies for functioning, operation, accuracy, and assembly to verify adherence to functional specifications.

Performing Pipeline inspection (cleaning, flushing, brushing, gauging) on site.

Calibrate and repair (if necessary) instruments and raise certificates.

Performed routine maintenance on equipment, which includes adjustment, repair, and painting.

Assembled, installed, and/or repaired pipe systems and hydraulic and pneumatic equipment.

Planned sequence of testing and calibration program for instruments and equipment according to blueprints, schematics, technical manuals, and other specifications.

Disassembled and reassembled instruments and equipment, using hand tools, and inspected instruments and equipment for defects.

Assist Field Engineer to make work procedures and task risk assessment.

Conferred with engineers, supervisor, and other technical workers to assist with equipment installation, maintenance, and repair techniques.

Works within established guidelines.
