Child care and early childhood development, Full responsibilities for two children ages 7 and 10. Parents work as a Pediatric Physician, MD and Business Executive – Driving responsibilities – Program and home supervision, 10-15 hours a week and special assignments as required. Hidden Lake Camp, June 2009 – July 2010 – Two Summers
Water Safety Lifeguard – Backcountry overnight camp – Adirondack Mountains, Upstate New York- Girl Scout Camp. Provided water safety and lifeguard services in a challenging work environment where I was responsible for water safety and daily lifeguard operations on a large lake in the Adirondack Park. I hold American Red Cross formal certifications in Lifeguarding, CPR, First Aid and AED. These certifications are current and document personal leadership, academic certification and direct water safety operations. I left this position to return to Montgomery County for college and summer child care supervision work in my major field of education and early childhood education / development.

Student Conservation Association – Outdoor Leadership – Summers 2005 and 2006
Selected for national backcountry trail work and leadership program including young people from all over the United States. I served a full summer doing very hard at times dangerous backcountry trail work in the high mountains of Cascades National Park and worked across the Canadian Border in British Columbia. Our team worked in high altitudes in isolated areas for numerous days at a time without central support. The following summer I was selected to work at Harper’s Ferry National Historic Site doing extended trail work and site work and field operations. This work demonstrated serious leadership and my potential for accepting serious responsibility for the future.
