-Create, monitor, perform and assign preventative and corrective maintenance assignments through our CMS work order system.
-Make in house repairs to the following equipment whenever possible: Boilers, Pumps, Hot water heaters, Air Handler Units, Fans, Kitchen Equipment, Fire Alarm Panel, Devices, Sprinkler System, Emergency Generators, Etc.
-Conduct all life safety requirements for the nursing home, AHCA required.
-Motivate and train 3 department personnel.
-To improve customer service and extend the maintenance coverage at the facility to later into the evening, I created a split shift position and results have been favorable.
-Round with several department managers to create a team atmosphere and improve overall facility operations and appearance.
-Create several monthly reports (MOR, CMOR, etc.) and attend several monthly meetings.
-Have been involved in and overseen several large projects here at the facility, 3 projects, 1. New Emergency Generator installation that now provides back up power to 100% of the facility (Governor of Florida mandated). 2. The 1 North wing was entirely renovated. 3. The facility needed to resolve a severe Negative Air issue (building envelop issue) and a project was performed to address this issue and enhance the HVAC system at the facility.
