Communications Specialist III, Campus Events (March 2013 – May 2018)

–Established and ran @OHIO_CUE Twitter account as an event and deadline information distribution venue for internal audiences. Served on social media team to help manage and executes social media activities for all primary university accounts.

–Served as project manager for the upgrade of the Ohio University central online calendar (viewable at https://calendar.ohio.edu), compiling requirements via constituent research on all six university campuses, developing the RFP, coordinating and hosting university-wide open forums for vendor presentations, and assisting with contract finalization.

–Trained Ohio University users to use Event Publisher SaaS through engaging in-person sessions, online resources, social media posts, and other custom training materials.

–Conducted initial and ongoing research for requirement, taxonomy, and process improvement for the OHIO central calendar.

–Worked with constituents across the university to develop network of OHIO calendar administrators. Developed training materials and worked with UCM graphic designers to produce image templates that were provided to the calendar administrators.

caption writing; and building web pages.

–As a member of the social media team, monitored and updated Ohio University's presence on Twitter and Facebook.

–Worked with team to develop content and select images for semiweekly updates to the Ohio University home page to create an appealing rotation of news items and marketing messages balancing the needs of external and internal audiences.

–Fact checked, edited, and proofread copy for Outlook and other pages throughout the ohio.edu website.
