Elementary School Tutor America Reads Program, Biola University September 2009 to October 2010 Accepted into a limited program designed to place responsible, role-model-worthy college students into elementary school classrooms. Provided clerical and tutoring assistance to classroom teachers as well as direct one-on-one reading tutoring to kindergarten and first grade students. Was motivated by witnessing students learning and growing throughout the year-long process.
