Saved $3M by rebuilding key vendor relationship
Rescued troubled relationship with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) and Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS) vendor by reaching out to vendor CEO and scheduling status and decision making weekly conference calls to resolve issues. Rehabilitated key business vendor relationship, saving millions in RFP and vendor replacement expenses.

18-year old telephone system seriously compromised reliability and call quality. After carefully evaluating the features and costs of four different systems, selected MITEL system which substantially improved reporting and overall reliability, dropped call statistics, and required a very modest capital investment.

Developed first ever IT budget process, managing a budget of approximately $2M.
Served as business relationship liaison for CIOs, Directors of Radiology and other business leaders at seven partner hospitals.

Installed new management solution for 6,000 workstations

Based on new policy requiring retention of all inbound and outbound emails, selected CommVault-QiNetix Enterprise Solution gaining new capabilities and increasing efficiency. New archiving system proved highly instrumental in providing historical data/email tracking that retrieved $1M insurance claim.
Directed recovery of 650-server data center
Successfully engineered quick recovery when new data center was breached/damaged, causing UPS to overheat shutting down data center. Executed disaster recovery plan, notifying key players and bringing in portable AC to enable controlled startup of 650 servers.
