WORK EXPERIENCE

General Manager, Awal Internet Shopping, Bahrain Feb 2017 to Current Laid the groundwork for all systems, baseline policies and procedures to implement effective customer service delivery and management; overseeing financial planning, reporting, and performance and ensuring that the strategy and systems in place met business goals. Also led a team of 5 and thoughtfully managed day-to-day business challenges of a startup. Key Outcome: Launched the first single online destination for buying, and selling in Bahrain

(the intention is to add services, and hiring soon -- currently in Beta).

Hired to manage the maintenance department, I moved into multiple roles with significantly increased responsibility across multiple departments, including the warehouse and company-wide ERP planning. This work served the purpose of preparing our departments for serving Bahrain nationwide and entailed in-depth operations planning, requirements gathering, and research. Key Outcome: Significantly boosted efficiencies by implementing interdepartmental standards and procedures; introducing barcode scanning; and, carrying out ERP planning, documentation, and change management practices to ensure success of the new ERP.

Implemented ERP solution and training to improve customer service, resiliency planning, communication, systems planning and enhanced efficiencies for all stakeholders.

Led overhaul and redesign to of four warehouse layouts, policies and systems from scratch without an interruption to daily operations.

Introduced barcode scanning for products and teams as well as packages to expedite the inbound and outbound procedures.

Successfully oversaw inventory, procurement, customer service, maintenance, and delivery issues, and ensured effective delivery of post-sale appliance servicing and maintenance.

New warehouse systems and procedures reduced annual inventory from 2 days to 4 hours. In this role I oversaw and led systems strategy, while also carrying out my role as supervising manager, and office administrator. In addition I tracked employee paperwork and records for over 200 vehicles of various sizes. Key Outcome: Annually saved 4000+ idle-time hours for our vehicles by reducing repair time from 2 weeks to 1 to 2 days per vehicle.

Generated financial reports for management review. Handled cash, and distribute it to purchasers for daily operations.

Created and implemented workflows to streamline the process of checking the vehicles, scheduling maintenance, inspection, and annual registration.
