Materials Manager

Responsible for purchasing, materials flow, inventory, planning, scheduling, logistics, shipping, and receiving.

Created and implemented strategic plan for materials and scheduling.

Drove continuous improvement by creating a Daily Action Board for materials. First four measures were PO delivery, inventory health, production discrepancies and delayed customer shipments.

Re-implemented MRP in SAP to drive more reliable material supply.

Conducted monthly GMP Audits and supported Food Safety audit.

Aligned the supply plan and demand plan weekly with North American network planners, aligning SAP and APO.

Reduced total inventory by $1.14MM (12.4%).

Implemented new tools to predict and prevent on-time delivery misses and past due backlog. Reduced OTD misses by 83%.

Managed the SIOP process to drive purchasing based on SIOP forecast.

Reset Finished goods inventory levels to ensure the right goods are available for customers
