Work Experience

Have been an English & Social Science Teacher at new age public school.[ CBSE English medium one] wef July 2007 to 28th Feb 2017. I had been teaching classes VI, VII, VIII and IX.

The last school that I was working with was Sapphire International School, Ranchi as an English teacher.I was teaching the international board. Was with them from October 2017 to June 2018.

Achievements at School Level :

1. Been Head Girl of the school

2. Winner 1st prize of debating competition [ English Seniors] for 3 consecutive years

3. Winner 1st prize in English dramatics and music vocal.

Future Plans:

Would love to pursue my Masters in English literature and if given a chance, go in for research on any one of Bernard Shaw’sor Thomas Hardy’s novels.

On choosing career:

I am unable to recall what induced me to go in for teaching profession. It might have been the call of my conscience as I always wanted to choose a noble profession. Many great men were teachers in the beginning, but later on became eminent personalities. I am gratified with the profession I have chosen because it gives me a rapture of a higher order. I have always been teaching my students with absolute commitment. I am certain that the inspirational teaching I impart,is going to enable my students to step on to higher pedestals of life in times to come. To inculcate positive attitude, sense of belongingness, fraternity, patriotism, humility and service to the nation are equally significant assets that go long way in the life of an individual student. All these traits are to be instilled in the students but during their schooling only. It is none else but the altruist teacher who is poised to accomplish all this.

My contribution to the institute as a teacher.

There is no denying the fact that the school infrastructure is the centre of attraction but the real attraction is the academic standard of an institution. Obviously, it is the teacher inside or outside the class who occupies a significant place in the academic arena of an institution.

My prime endeavour shall be to

1.lay emphasis on British pronunciation

2.give regular assignments and correct them as far as possible

3.adopt positive approach to correct errant behavior of students

4.enhance academic standard for the sake of plausible public perception

5.be loyal to school authorities

6.extend full cooperation to my colleagues

7.impart quality teaching

8.make two most important events viz Exhibition and Annual Function most successful

10.maintain respectable distance from the students and the

staff
