Designed and implemented sterilizable laparoscopic endoscope opto/electric connector & cable for Da Vinci Surgical System. Converted design from machined, non-sealed, manually cleaned to molded, sealed, and automatically sterilized with over three-day reduction in manufacturing cycle, reduced BOM cost, and improved durability. Acted as primary engineering interface to German manufacturing facility.
