Senior Business Analyst

Florida Peninsula – supervised the implementation of Point IN for Homeowners and Wind Only policies for the state of Florida and South Carolina. This included the completion of Requirement Documents for Receivables/Payables, Company Hierarchy, ALR (rating), and Print. It was also my responsibility to ensure that all the AS400 infrastructure host tables were loaded with the correct data to ensure proper processing of the receivables, payables, rating and print. I also worked closely with the Agency Link team to insure the seamless interface with Agency Link system and Point IN in the hosting data center environment. This required knowledge of both the host tables as well as the corresponding tables in Agency Link. I was involved in the day to day running of the account which included but was not limited to problem, tracking, code move approvals, issue research, writing requirement documents for subsequent changes to the system, making necessary table updates and writing simple SQL queries. Executed several matrices for testing the implementation changes to Point In which included matrices for rating, print, receivables and payables. Participated in on-site requirement gathering as well as on-site training classes on system use. Worked daily with the FIST system which was a problem/incident tracking database. When a FIST was opened, I reviewed the FIST to make sure that all the documentation was provided to ensure the defect or changes was resolved according to the requirements. Once that was done, it was then assigned to the Tech Supervisor to assign for coding. Supervised a two member off shore team that also helped to execute the test matrices and reviewed their test results. With the addition of the two off shore BA’s, my duties began to focus on more of the day to day running of the FPI account. I handled the changes for Policy Administration, Rating and Document Production. I also trouble shot rating issues as they were submitted. I also worked closely with the Operations staff to make changes to the Point In system to streamline their workflow. I was involved in weekly meetings to discuss timelines, requirement approvals and general reporting to management. There were also weekly conference calls to the Client to discuss the requirements, to obtain necessary approvals and timelines. Provided updates to the Operations team on any changes that would impact their day to day operations for the client. Provided the Client with a weekly report of the status of all the pending changes to the system. I also worked closely with the Agency Link Team to ensure that the GUI interface between Agency Link and Point In worked seamlessly to provide the Agents with the correct quotes on the policy information that was provided. Once the system was completed and the test matrices for each individual portion of the system were completed and signed off on, I supervised the completion of the Model Office testing which was done in conjunction with the customer.
