Adaptive Overcurrent Protection of Distribution System with Distributed Generations. May 2018

Studied the impact of Distributed Generation on Distribution System and learned the adaptive overcurrent protection scheme using Hardware-in-the loop system. A MATLAB/SIMULINK software was used for modeling and testing of a system while a microprocessor based SEL-351s protection system is at the side of the hardware along with the AcSELerator Quickset software tool.

The ETAP software package is used to carry out load flow, short circuit, harmonic and optimal load flow analysis for DFIG based wind farm and the performance was evaluated.
