Description: Cigna Corporation and its subsidiaries serve millions of people worldwide through medical, dental, behavioural health, pharmacy, vision, life, accident and disability benefit plans and insurance. This project deals in supporting two critical applications.

Billing system – The core functionality of this system is invoice generation and financial reporting on a scheduled basis to clients.

Banking system - This system is about dealing with all payments to and from Cigna, to all the vendors and clients.

These two are very critical applications where the monetary adjustments and financial processing happens.

Whirl Endpoint Services - is a collection of mainframe based services used to access data to and from the front-end channels. This is like a middleware that collects the required data from all Applications and send to Front end with the format required by them.

Fusion Deconversion - Capital one is working towards Modernization journey and moving to one single Card infrastructure that enables Capital one to offer customers the same industry-leading servicing and digital experiences. The scope of this project is to send the data from one Mainframe to another Mainframe, Key elements are De conversion of data and Interfaces setup with the new infrastructure, Analysis of existing system, Data Cut, Data mapping activities followed by Trailing activities.

Risks and Events –In the day to day customer transactions if there is any discrepancy with respect to the customer billing and payments a risk or an event would be raised. This project is about dealing with those reimbursements and updates to the system.

Involved in developing these enhancements like Reg Z projects (related to Credit CARD Act of 2009 legislation section 104 projects), Statement reconciling procedures, Death benefit process changes.
