- Carry out daily environmental inspections of new Naga Hammadi Barrage site and associated activities including quarries and the waste disposal site to check compliance with the NHB-JV Environmental Protection Plan and the associated procedures.

- Ensures that management and staff are aware of the EPP and comply with its requirements.

- Has overall responsibility for environmental site inspection and for Environmental Inspection Reports (EIR) and Environmental Incident Forms (EIF).
