HYDROGEN PRODUCTION PLANT AT ITAIPU DAM TECHNOLOGICAL PARK PROJECT ENGINEER
Jul./2017 to Oct./2018
The Hydrogen Production plant is installed inside Itaipu Technological Park, which is a hub of scientific and technological production established by Itaipu Binational Dam, the largest operational hydroelectric energy producer in the world, with an installed generation capacity of 14GW.
• Developed a new procedure to capture and utilize hydrogen generation process data in the Hydrogen Production Plant to help operations personnel understand the health of the process better and increase efficiency and output. o Upon realizing that current methods needed improvement, I performed deep data analysis to determine and present a complete process data set. This resulted in an immediate promotion offer, which I declined due to our planned move to the US.
• Co-authored article “Evaluation and calculation of the Energy Efficiency of the alkaline water electrolyzer” submitted to the World Hydrogen Energy Conference
