Quantitative Analyst Intern iRageCapital Advisory LLP May, 2018 – July, 2018

Worked on a project to infer and exploit lead-lag relationship b/w two asset classes created due to difference in liquidity.

Designed a scalable API framework to statistically infer lead-lag between any two instruments by using several techniques such as Granger Causality test, Co-integration, Hayashi-Yoshida criterion and so on, at varying levels of granularity in time.

Extensively researched on price impact of order-sign flow, implementing price impact models as proposed in the seminal papers of Fabrizio Lillo and JP Bouchad, to predict transaction-to-transaction price movements with over 90% accuracy at tick by tick level.

Propagator kernels were calibrated using spectral methods of Signal Processing on 10 day SBIN futures tick-by-tick data, of which a voting ensemble was created to predict (1, 0, -1) indicating an up-move, no-significant move and down-move respectively Quantitative Research Intern Aggois Business Solutions Nov, 2017 – Jan, 2018

Formulated an indigenous mechanism to calculate premiums for the exotic forwards using Black Scholes and stochastic volatility modelling using ensemble of models from the GARCH universe leading up to the yields of about 25%.

Created a library of technical indicators such as RSI, MACD, Bollinger bands for analysing price movement of unlisted commodities.

Quantified risk using time-series analysis of historical returns for forwards of different maturities using VaR and CVaR.

The primary goal was to develop a classifier that can correctly identify whether a subject is visualizing a task that is familiar or unfamiliar

Secondary goals include providing insight into which brain regions and frequency bands associate with each of the respective classes.
